Advocate Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for inpatient neurology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. You will work with neurologists and the care team to manage diverse acute neurological conditions, performing assessments, ordering tests, and shaping treatment plans.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed RN and APRN with state licenses in good standing.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• DEA registration prior to hire; Illinois controlled substance license if practicing in IL.
• BLS and/or ACLS/PALS/NRP as required before or within 6 months.
• Master’s in Nursing and NP certification are required.

Aufgaben

• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute neurological conditions in hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with neurologists and health care team to develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostics, document in EMR, and ensure proper coding/billing.
• Provide patient/family education and coordinate care across teams.
