Advocate Health Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for inpatient neurology at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN licenses in Illinois with national board certification.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• No experience required for this APRN inpatient neurology role.

Responsabilités

• Assess hospitalized neurology patients and develop management plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies to guide treatment.
• Collaborate with neurologists, nurses, therapists and case management.
• Educate patients and families about disease, treatment plans and recovery expectations.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and coordinate care with the team.
