Elliot Health System is seeking a Mobility Technician to assist in the Inpatient Occupational Therapy department on the Main Campus in Manchester, NH. This full-time role supports mobility and ADL activities for patients under the direction of inpatient Clinical Nurse Managers, with a focus on safe transfers and transport of patients.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification within 3 months, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.
• Experience interacting with the public is desired; medical setting experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire is required or must be obtained to maintain employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for treatment.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and exercise plans.
• Assemble supplies, set up equipment and prepare treatment modalities.
• Assist with transporting patients and maintaining mobility supplies on inpatient units.
