Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking an Inpatient Mobility Tech (Physical Therapy support) to cover evenings and weekends as needed in the Rehabilitation Services – Inpatient department at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. The role supports mobility, transfers, and basic patient care under clinical supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, assisting with ambulation, transporting patients, and maintaining supplies. CPR certification is required within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or the equivalent required.
• Experience: Public-facing experience and healthcare setting preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: CPR certification within 3 months of hire and maintain CPR.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for treatment.
• Assists with toileting and personal care setup.
• Assists with ambulation and exercise plans.
• Sets up and adjusts mobility equipment and treatment modalities.
• Assists with transfers and mechanical lifting of patients.
• Transports patients as needed.
• Maintains mobility supply levels and orderliness.
• Performs daily mobility equipment sweep.
