Job summary

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Radcliff, Kentucky, is seeking a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to support patients throughout their inpatient treatment journey. You will work alongside licensed staff to provide compassionate, non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care across shifts.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, adapting to patient needs, maintaining the unit's therapeutic milieu, and ensuring smooth handoffs between shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required
• Experience in direct patient care OR
• Completion of Nursing Assistant Training/psychiatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care under licensed staff
• Completes documentation clearly and concisely reflecting patient goals and treatment plan
• Adapts to patient-specific factors and clinical interventions to fit individual goals
• Maintains unit's therapeutic milieu and ensures consistent shift handoffs and reports
