Oceans Lubbock, part of Oceans Healthcare, is hiring a Registered Nurse to lead milieu management and direct patient care in a psychiatric setting. The role emphasizes safe care, accurate reporting, and collaboration with nursing staff to support individual treatment plans.

The RN will administer medications, document progress, and uphold Joint Commission and state regulations while pursuing ongoing professional development and licensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• CPR certification completed and Oceans’ de-escalation program.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate individualized care.
• Administers medications safely and provides patient education on meds.
• Maintains accurate documentation of symptoms, responses, and progress.
• Ensures reporting and communication for continuity of care across staff.
• Adheres to Joint Commission, federal/state regulations and facility policies.
• Float across clinical services as needed and support staff and patients.
