Job summary

Tal Healthcare seeks a Physician Assistant to join an academic medical center's inpatient Malignant Hematology/Oncology service in New York. You will care for medically complex oncology patients in a multidisciplinary team alongside physicians, residents, nurses, pharmacists and other professionals.

This role offers exposure to malignant hematology, BMT, CAR-T therapy, cellular therapies and clinical trials, with 3 × 12-hour day or night shifts. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Eligible for PA licensure in the applicable state.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Care for medically complex oncology patients in a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, nurses, pharmacists and other staff.
• Gain exposure to chemotherapy, BMT, CAR-T and cellular therapies.
• Support clinical trials and advanced cancer treatments.
• Develop expertise in malignant hematology and inpatient oncology care.
