Job summary

New York Cancer & Blood Specialists is seeking a Hematologist or Medical Oncologist specialized in malignant hematology and cellular therapy to join its growing team in New York. The role focuses on lymphoma, leukemia, multiple myeloma, and access to CAR-T and bispecific therapies in a community oncology setting.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible, with experience in cellular therapies and a commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Medical Oncologist with experience in malignant hematology and cellular therapy.
• Direct clinical experience managing CAR-T cell therapy and BiTE therapies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients receiving CAR-T cell and bispecific antibody therapies.
• Participate in treatment planning, outpatient administration, step-up dosing, post-treatment monitoring, and long-term follow-up.
• Recognize and manage treatment-related toxicities, including CRS, ICANS, cytopenias, infections.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, pharmacists, and care coordinators to support safe and effective treatment delivery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and tumor boards.
• Contribute to clinical research and trials involving cellular therapies and immunotherapies.
