NYU Langone Health in New York, NY, seeks a Physician Assistant for Bellevue - Inpatient Hematology Oncology. The PA will provide comprehensive medical care under supervision, participate in patient rounds, and support treatment plans for inpatients and the oncology service.

The candidate should have a BA-PA, NYS PA license, NCCPA certification, BLS, and preferred ACLS/PALS; 2+ years rotation; strong teamwork and communication; salary range is disclosed.

Qualificações

• Physician Assistant Bachelor's Degree (BA-PA).
• Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
• NCCPA Board Certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).

Responsabilidades

• Educates patient and family to facilitate and promote healthy adjustment to new or changed health patterns.
• Evaluates treatment and care plans for effectiveness and modifies per clinical standards.
• Prescribes in-patient and discharge medications according to NYS law and DEA authorization.
• Coordinates implementation of clinical research studies or clinical trials as applicable.
• Works collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.
• Maintains PA board certification and CME requirements.
