UHC United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in an inpatient setting. The role supports physicians and care teams, adhering to the patient plan and nursing standards.

Requirements include WV or multi-state LPN license, BLS certification within 30 days, and successful completion of background checks. Minimum 1 year LPN experience is preferred; 36 hours weekly, day shift, non-exempt position with on-site

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license or multi-state LPN via eNLC.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Background check as required for regulated areas.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care per plan of care and guidance from supervising role.
• Assist with examinations and procedures as assigned.
• Observe, document and report patient concerns promptly.
• Contribute to nursing assessment and care planning.
• Administer IM, subcutaneous, IV and oral medications as directed.
• Educate patients and families and support rehabilitation activities.
