Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital - New Hampshire is seeking a Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) for the Inpatient Medical Unit. The role supports RNs with hands-on patient care, including vital signs, mobility and personal care, contributing to a safe and compassionate environment.

You will work full-time nights (36 hours per week), with weekend and holiday rotation as part of a collaborative nursing team. This position requires NH LNA license and CNA certification, with comprehensive benefits and

Qualifications

CNA certification and NH LNA license required or active in NH.
BLS certification or within 30 days of start.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support care and recovery.
Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin care.
Maintain clean, organized patient areas and common spaces for safety.
Manage supplies and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
Communicate kindly with patients, families and care team to support safety and quality.
