Job summary

UC Health is seeking a full-time, second shift ICU/Med-Surg Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Inpatient Pharmacy at UC Medical Center. The CPS provides specialized clinical services and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to optimize therapy.

Under the Director, the CPS coordinates care and participates in education and research initiatives. A PGY1 residency is required, with PGY2/fellowship preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.
• Preference for ASHP-accredited PGY2 and/or fellowship in specialty area.
• Hospital-based clinical pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized clinical pharmacy services to patients under medical direction.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize medication therapy.
• Develop therapeutic plans and address medication-related problems.
• Participate in education and research activities.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff and residents.
