Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Uses nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team to care for patients.
• Administrates prescribed meds and treatments per nursing standards and state laws.
• Documents care according to standards.
• Performs assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops and executes patient care plans per physician and unit policies.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Provides clinical guidance to other units to support longitudinal care.
• Applies critical thinking for safety and experience; escalates as needed.
• Engages in nursing professional development and peer review.
