Job summary

Lower Cape Fear LifeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (Inpatient) to provide direct patient care for life-limiting illnesses in Wilmington, NC. You will manage the Plan of Care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care.

This role requires NC RN licensure, a nursing degree, and 2 years of experience (home care/hospice preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Two years of experience; hospice/home care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for life-limiting illnesses.
• Educate patients and families on Plan of Care.
• Document and communicate accurately per policies and regulations.
• Delegate tasks to nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Maintain professionalism and pursue ongoing development.
• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Supervise Hospice Aide as needed.
