Job summary

Lower Cape Fear LifeCare seeks a Hospice RN in Jacksonville, NC. You will deliver compassionate end-of-life care across home and facility settings, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and support families while managing a flexible schedule.

Expect to drive between patient visits, train caregivers, and document in real time. Licensure in NC/SC and hospice or home care experience are preferred. This is a full-time position with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing (AD, Diploma or BSN).
• Current license to practice professional nursing in NC/SC.
• Two years of nursing experience; home care or hospice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in home, assisted living, or other settings.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and community providers.
• Train caregivers on wound care, medication administration, and personal care.
• Document accurately in real time and manage on-call rotation.
• Drive between patient visits using personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
