Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a Clinical Transplant Coordinator to provide and coordinate patient care across all transplant phases. You will be a fully effective member of the multidisciplinary transplant team and deliver the full range of professional nursing practice to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 3 years RN experience, with 1 year in critical care or 2 years adult bedside nursing.
• RN licensure in Maryland.
• Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) or BMTCN required within 2 years of hire date.
• Active BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care delivery across all transplant phases and schedule post-transplant procedures.
• Collect and report comprehensive patient health data and communicate with organ procurement and transplant teams.
• Address patient safety concerns and participate in multidisciplinary care planning.
• Support regulatory compliance and quality improvement activities.
