Job summary

Cardinal Health manages inpatient pharmacy services and currently seeks a full-time pharmacy technician to support facility operations, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. The Technician II helps pharmacists, handles prescriptions, inventory, and returns while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, accurate order fulfillment, and adherence to all applicable laws and policies, with opportunities to grow in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• State-licensed Pharmacy Technician in Ohio or ability to obtain license.
• National certification (PTCB or NHA) required.
• In-patient hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Pharmacy purchasing and Pyxis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist as needed, per State Boards rules.
• Maintain a safe, clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Input patient data and prescription information into the pharmacy information management system.
• Take inventory, place orders, check in drugs and supplies, stock shelves.
• Communicate with customers for timely order fulfillment.
• Adhere to pharmacy laws and company guidelines.
