Arbour Hospital in Boston is seeking an Activity Therapist to join the inpatient behavioral health team. The role focuses on expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and coordinating recreational activities for patients on psychiatric units.

The position requires a Master’s in social work or related field and may prefer some group leadership experience in psychiatric settings. This is a full-time, on-site hospital-based role with multidisciplinary collaboration and documentation duties.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in social work, mental health counseling, or in a related field required
• 6 months experience as a group leader in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient treatment program preferred

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial activity therapy assessment to develop appropriate treatment goals
• Facilitate 4 groups per day
• Complete group documentation and communicate with other members of the treatment team via treatment planning and team meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
