Job summary

Brown University Health seeks an Art Therapist/Expressive Arts Therapist to provide treatment using art therapy and CBT techniques, reporting to the Clinical Directors. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy.
• ATR or REAT with RI licensure (LMHC/LMHC-A) required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, establishes goals and treatment plans.
• Documents rehabilitation status and communicates with the care team.
• Applies art therapy techniques and supervises students.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to infection control policies.
• Provides education and training to patients and families; participates in CEUs.

Education

Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy

Registered Art Therapist (ATR) or Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) and current license from the State of Rhode Island (LMHC, LMHC-A)
