Job summary

University of California, Irvine is recruiting a gastroenterologist with an interest in General GI. The candidate should perform EGD and colonoscopy with polypectomy and may provide ED and inpatient coverage while expanding outpatient clinical care at UCI Health community sites in Fountain Valley and other UCI locations.

Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience; expected pay range is listed below.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and objectives while complying with UC policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with state and federal privacy laws.
• Leadership skills; motivate and communicate with faculty, residents, staff and peers.
