University of California, Irvine is recruiting a full-time board certified/board eligible surgeon with experience in emergency general surgery. The role includes covering emergency general surgery and developing an elective surgical practice at UCI Health community clinical sites.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent degree required.
• Fellowship completed.
• Eligible for California licensure.
• Experience in emergency general surgical care.

Responsibilities

• Cover emergency general surgery and develop an elective surgical practice at UCI Health community clinical sites.
• Grow a practice and foster relationships with community-based physicians and other providers across the UCI Health system.
• Collaborate with specialty surgeons and the SCA network to integrate services.
