Qualifications

• LPN license currently in good standing in the state where services are provided or multi-state LPN license via eNLC.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required for regulated areas.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per plan of care and guidance from supervising RN/Physician.
• Perform designated therapeutic procedures as needed.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions and responses promptly.
• Assist physicians and supervising role with examinations and procedures.
• Contribute to nursing assessment by collecting and recording data.
• Identify changes in patient status and communicate findings.
• Contribute to development of the care plan and priorities.
• Educate patients and families as directed and assist in rehabilitation.
• Document nursing interventions and responses in the health record.
• Safely administer medications via IM, subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulization and/or MDI; seek supervision as needed.
