Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh seeks a qualified Registered Nurse for the Nursing Education department. This full-time, day-shift role requires licensure in PA (or multi-state via eNLC), a BSN, and at least 3 years of RN experience with wound care exposure.

CPR certification and background clearances are required. The position involves coordinating patient education, collaborating with the care team, and guiding staff from admission through discharge while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license or multi-state license via eNLC.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience.
• 6 months or more of formal wound care experience or WOCN/WCC certification.
• Willing to complete a WOCN training program if not a WOCN.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance; Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance; Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting clearance.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Provides safe, effective care for the assigned patient population.
• Directs and manages patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
