Select Specialty Hospital in Erie, PA is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) on a PRN/Per Diem schedule. The role focuses on wound and skin care, providing hands-on treatment, and coordinating rounds for high-risk patients.

You'll organize skin preservation strategies, ensure all wound protocols are approved, and collaborate with the medical staff to meet regulatory requirements. An AD nursing degree, valid RN license, BLS, and wound care training within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (AD) required.
• Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience.
• Valid state RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Must complete wound care training in the first 90 days in the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on wound care for difficult and non-healing wounds.
• Organize weekly multidisciplinary wound and skin rounds for high-risk patients.
• Serve as a resource to hospital staff on wound and skin care.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements related to wound care are met.
• Implement and monitor skin preservation strategies.
• Ensure wound care protocols are approved by the medical staff.

Minimum Qualifications
