Job summary

Advanced Wound Center in Greensburg, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (casual/part-time) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the wound care program. The RN will work with an interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing program with Med/Surg experience, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate complex information. PA RN license, BLS, and willingness to travel between locations preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• One year Med/Surg experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational skills, independent and critical thinking, sound judgment.
• Ability to communicate complex topics to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain infection-control standards and safe medication practices.
• Document care in patient records and ensure continuity.
• Educate patients and families about condition and self-care.
• Supervise GN/LPN/other staff as needed.
• Travel between System locations as required.
