Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) – Inpatient Services. The RN CAP1 will coordinate and deliver clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, while delegating tasks as appropriate to the care team.

The role involves collaboration with supervisors and physicians, education for patients and families, and participation in quality improvement and program

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; 12 months preferred.
• 6 months acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision and with guidance from Educator/Preceptor.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after treatment; document in medical record.
• Provide patient/family education on learning needs and care.
• Coordinate with supervisors, physicians and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
