Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse in the Clinical Advancement Program to deliver and coordinate nephrology patient care in inpatient services. You will assess, plan and implement care, collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and technicians, and participate in education and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

The role involves direct patient care in a dialysis context, with potential rotations to outpatient facilities, and requires completion of CAP requirements

Qualifications

• RN with nephrology nursing experience up to 2 years (entry level)
• CPR/BLS certification current or in progress
• RN must have state licensure and be eligible to practice in the facility's state

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment with nursing team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and dialysis procedures.
• Coordinate communication with dialysis providers and facility staff.
• Administer medications and respond to adverse events as directed.
