Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Northside Forsyth, Cumming, GA seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) within Inpatient Services. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, while collaborating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

As part of the kidney care team, you will participate in teaching, leadership and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• CPR BLS Certification is required.
• Entry level RN with less than 1 year of nephrology nursing experience in the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient data collection and analysis pre-, during- and post-treatment and document in the medical record.
• Adjust treatment plan as indicated and notify supervisors and physicians as needed.
• Provide patient/family education and document learning needs.
