Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-site role at the Northside Cherokee facility in Canton, GA. This entry-level CAP2 position oversees assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for a patient group, with opportunities to mentor and lead as part of the dialysis care team.

The RN will perform data collection, coordinate with physicians and staff, deliver patient education, and ensure safe treatment administration across modalities.

Qualifications

• RN license current in the relevant state.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in nephrology or dialysis nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Document patient data pre-, during-, and post-treatment and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and learning needs.
• Direct and supervise care by RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care.
