Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Inpatient RN CAP 2 in Massachusetts to provide coordinated dialysis care. The role involves assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group, with supervision as needed by the supervising RN, educator, or preceptor.

You will work to ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting. This entry-level CAP 2 pathway requires current state licensure, CPR/BLS, and eligibility for CAP advancement.

Qualifications

• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification required.
• Acceptance into the RN CAP 2 program or advancement from CAP 1.
• Minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience in the last 2 years as an RN; acute dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the dialysis setting.
• Document in the patient medical record and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide education to patients and families about care and procedures.
