Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Dialysis Technician to float between East Cleveland and Akron. The role requires dialysis experience and a valid CCHT or Bonent certification.

You will provide patient care under RN supervision, monitor treatment parameters, and ensure safety and quality in all procedures. Travel between facilities is expected; candidates must be able to lift and assist with equipment and patients, and maintain accurate treatment records while supporting QEP initiatives.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently with little supervision.
• Dialysis experience is required, along with a CCHT or Bonent certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; CMS licensure/education may apply.
• 1–2 years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of the FMCNA RN for assigned patients.
• Promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment and support quality improvement activities.
• Set up and prime equipment for renal replacement therapies as directed by the FMCNA RN.
• Document and report vitals, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and report unusual findings to the FMCNA RN.
• Initiate and monitor dialysis treatment parameters as prescribed and ensure safety alarms are enabled.
