Job summary

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing between treatments.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and assist cannulation as directed.
• Record vitals, weight, and treatment parameters on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Prepare and process lab specimens as required by the unit.
• Maintain dialysis environment: clean surfaces, chairs, and equipment.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report changes to RN.
• Contribute to CQI and education activities as needed.
