Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to join the care team in Ohio. You will assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient response, and document vitals and treatment parameters for safe, effective therapy.

The role involves education support, infection control adherence, and collaboration with nursing staff to maintain high quality patient care during dialysis sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national licensing requirements.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training as required.
• Experience in dialysis setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assess wellbeing since last treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulate as delegated.
• Record vitals, weights, and treatment parameters.
• Initiate dialysis per orders and monitor patient response.
• Document treatment data and assist with infection control.
• Assist in staff training and education under RN supervision.
