Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Ohio seeks a dialysis patient care technician to support safe, effective dialysis under licensed supervision. You will assist in machine setup, monitor vital signs, cannulate access, and keep a clean, safe environment while contributing to CQI and patient education.

Candidate should have a high school diploma, CMS/state certification, CPR training, and prior patient care experience. Travel between facilities and lifting may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state or national certification required.
• CPR certification or training may be required or completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and condition during treatment.
• Cannulate vascular access and administer heparin as delegated.
• Document treatment parameters accurately.
• Maintain infection control and environmental safety.
• Support CQI activities and patient education as directed.
