Job summary
Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote high-quality diabetes care from admission to discharge.
The role provides education to patients and families, supports staff competency, and drives initiatives to improve the patient experience. Qualified candidates are registered nurses with Texas licensure, CPR, and nursing education credentials; experience in diabetes care is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Certified Diabetic Educator, or eligible to become a certified diabetic educator.
- Credentialed as a diabetic education specialist or diabetes clinical management specialist preferred.
- Current CPR.
- Licensed in Texas as a Registered Nurse.
