Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Anesthesiology. The CRNA provides safe, age-appropriate anesthesia using established guidelines of clinical privileges approved by the Chair of Anesthesiology.

The position is also a Clinical Instructor and the CRNA directs, supervises, and evaluates Student Nurse Anesthetists. The department emphasizes full-time status, 40 hours per week, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current NC RN license and NBCRNA certification.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate perioperative anesthesia care per guidelines.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement and infection prevention.
• Document and maintain confidential records per standards.
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling and readiness to provide patient care.
