Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO seeks a Flex/PRN Clinical Pharmacist to coordinate medication management for critically ill patients in the ICU and emergency department. This onsite role supports 12 hours per month minimum with a mix of day/evening/overnight shifts, including weekends and holiday rotations, in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD with CO licensure and may have PGY2 in critical care or emergency medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification.
• PGY2 critical care or PGY2 emergency medicine residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide comprehensive medication management for critical care/emergency patients.
• Ensure medications are prescribed, dispensed and administered according to best practices.
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses and other staff to facilitate collaborative care.
