Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated by an RN.
• Monitors vital signs, checks blood glucose, records intake and output.
• Assists patients with bathing, grooming, eating.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Prioritizes unit work and communicates with staff and family as needed.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls and communicates information to staff/family/patient.
• Manages overall unit workflow with charge RN or manager.
• Pre-census and census validation as needed.
