Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.
• Monitors vital signs, takes blood glucose, records intake and output.
• Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff promptly.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly; supports unit workflow.
• Prioritizes tasks, stays organized, and remains calm under stress.
• Acts as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls and communicates information to staff, family, or patient.
• Supports census processes and coordination with charge RN or manager.
