Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Inpatient Coding Auditor to perform advanced reviews, DRG validation, and CDI reconciliation. You will mentor staff, provide training, and improve workflows to boost coding accuracy and quality.

Requirements include 4+ years inpatient coding, RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC, and experience with EPIC and DRG/PCS systems. Position is 13 weeks with day and night shifts in Oklahoma City.

Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC certification required.
• 4+ years of hospital inpatient coding experience including principal diagnosis, DRG assignment, and PCS coding.
• At least 1 year of inpatient hospital-based coding auditing/DRG validation experience.
• Extensive IP coding acute care and trauma coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced inpatient coding quality reviews and auditing activities, including peer reviews, CDI reconciliation, code and DRG validation, query compliance assessment, and staff training.
