Job summary

Mountainside Treatment Center in Canaan, CT seeks an Inpatient Clinician to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed care within a holistic recovery program.

You will develop integrated treatment plans, review records, coordinate with APRN, Psychiatrist, and Continuing Care, and document thoroughly while ensuring regulatory compliance. Bachelor’s required; CAC in CT preferred; 2+ years of counseling experience encouraged. Base salary 65k–80k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for the role.
• Minimum credential of a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) in CT is required; licensed or pursuing licensure preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred and relevant clinical licensure beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create integrated treatment plans with referrals to program components.
• Review discharge records and contact stakeholders.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
• Utilize screening tools and evidence-based treatment models.
• Conduct therapeutic treatment and group therapy with integrated care focus.
• Maintain clinical charts and ensure timely documentation.
