Job summary

Mountainside Treatment Center in Wilton, CT, is seeking an Outpatient Group Clinician (Part-Time) to lead IOP/OP group sessions within a collaborative, holistic care model. You will create a safe space for clients to explore recovery with evidence-based approaches and a whole-person lens, partnering with a multidisciplinary team.

The role features a part-time schedule (Mon Tue Thu 8:00 am–1:00 pm), competitive hourly compensation, and benefits including paid sick time and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, required.
• Holds and maintains independent or provisional licensure as an LCSW/LMSW, LPC/LPC-A, or LMFT/LMFT-A in CT, required.
• Previous experience facilitating group therapy, required.
• Previous experience in outpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging IOP and OP group therapy sessions using evidence-based and holistic approaches.
• Create a supportive and inclusive group environment that fosters connection and growth.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Respond to clinical needs in real time, including crisis intervention when necessary.
• Support drug and alcohol screening processes as needed.
• Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EMR.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

As an Outpatient Group Clinician, you’ll facilitate engaging, clinically sound group sessions that support clients in Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) levels of care. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and transformative space where clients can explore recovery through a whole-person approach—mind, body, and spirit.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Your Role

• Lead engaging IOP and OP group therapy sessions using evidence-based and holistic approaches

• Previous experience facilitating group therapy, required.


• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting, preferred.

Compensation

Rates vary based on the nature of the work performed (clinical vs. non-clinical responsibilities), as well as experience and credentials. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions. This is not a fee-for-service position.

• Non-clinical hours: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour


• Clinical hours: $45.00 – $75.00 per hour
