Job summary

Mountainside Treatment Center in Canaan, CT seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead clinical services within its residential program. This role blends direct therapy with supervision of clinical staff, driving high-quality, evidence-informed care and strong outcomes for clients and families.

The ideal candidate will be a confident clinical leader with a track record of coaching and developing staff, in a collaborative multidisciplinary setting. On-call weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s level degree required with clinical license.
• Experience supervising clinical staff in residential or behavioral health settings.
• Experience in addiction or behavioral health treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-informed approaches.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in a timely manner.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals across disciplines.
• Coordinate admissions, length-of-stay reviews, and discharge planning.
• Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
• Lead daily clinical huddles and participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
