Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General seeks an experienced Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient, PRN to join the inpatient pharmacy team. Based at Akron General, you will rotate through multiple inpatient settings, performing chart reviews, order verification and pharmacotherapy evaluation as part of a collaborative, patient-focused care model.

The role offers broad exposure to inpatient and infusion services with shift coverage including 2nd shift and weekends. A PharmD or PharmD/B.S.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
• Immunization administration certification and BLS/ACLS or PALS certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered, medication services.
• Verify medication orders and dispense accurately according to regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Support pharmacy operations across inpatient and infusion services.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians and care teams to triage needs and optimize therapy.
• Educate and train students and residents.
