Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for Massachusetts General Hospital's inpatient care teams at 55 Fruit Street in Boston. The role emphasizes safe, effective, and timely medication therapy in an evening shift, with 40 hours weekly and onsite responsibilities within a multidisciplinary care setting.

The position requires MA licensure eligibility, board certification within 18 months, and experience in pharmacotherapeutic optimization.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Board Certification by examination, or equivalent, preferred; required within 18 months of hiring.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 and PGY2 Internal Medicine or Pharmacotherapy residency/fellowship preferred.
• Provide care per department policies and participate in quality improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient-centered care with physicians, nurses and hospital staff.
• Deliver medication therapy management and clinical interventions for a broad range of diseases.
• Support policy development, workflow optimization and clinical program advancement.
• Educate and precept pharmacy residents and students; engage in applicable research.
