The position requires CCS, CIC, or CRC certification knowledge, collaboration with physicians and coders, and the ability to lead quality improvement

Responsabilidades

• Review inpatient and outpatient records to ensure accurate severity of illness and codings.
• Collaborate with physicians, coders, case managers, nurses, and staff to improve documentation quality.
• Educate providers on documentation best practices and risk adjustment.
• Support audits, denial-related activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Act as a liaison and provide guidance to staff on documentation standards.
