Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a Hospital Aide to support inpatient care under the supervision of licensed staff. You will assist with data collection, patient status updates, admissions, discharges, transfers, and routine nursing tasks on the Transitional Care Unit.

Qualifications

• Experience or completed training program in area of specialty.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Assists with ongoing data collection; reports changes to RN/LPN and implements care plan under supervision.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Demonstrates basic nursing skills and use of simple equipment.
• Maintains recording of data and nursing care activities in medical records per standards.
• Follows safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
