Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support the Division of Cardiology in a hospital setting in Smithfield, RI. The APP will manage a cardiac patient caseload and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• NCCPA board certification required for PA track.
• RI license as Registered Nurse and current DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience working in acute cardiac or hospital care settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, cost-conscious care for acute cardiac patients.
• Apply guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT) in the care plan.
• Perform history, physicals, and interpret tests with the care team.
• Participate in discharge planning and interprofessional care.
• Lead in education, mentoring, and policy development for APPs.
• Maintain compliance with Brown University Health policies and procedures.
