Brown University Health seeks an advanced practice provider (APP) to support cardiac patients at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. The APP partners with the care team to optimize health status, coordinate care over time, and lead clinical initiatives within the Division of Cardiology.

Applicants must hold a master’s degree in their APRN/PA program, current NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification, RI license, and BLS/ACLS. Prescriptive privileges per licensure are included.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from a Physician Assistant program with a master’s degree and NCCPA board certification.
• Graduate from a master’s program for Nurse Practitioners with current ANCC or AANP certification.

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality, guideline-directed medical therapy in acute cardiac care.
• Demonstrate advanced cardiac knowledge for acute care patients.
• Perform history, physicals, and interpret labs, EKGs, telemetry, CXR, and plan care with the team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary discharge planning and coordination.
• Lead and mentor APP students and new staff as assigned.
• Implement standards, policies, and critical pathways to support care delivery.
• Complete mandatory safety, infection control, BLS, and ACLS annually.
