Job summary

Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Inpatient Nurse Supervisor and Charge Nurse for the Birth Center. The role oversees day-to-day operations, provides direct patient care, and supervises clinical staff across NICU, Postpartum, Labor & Delivery, including OR C/B.

This 0.90 FTE position includes evening/night shifts with a mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts, requiring a BSN or ADN with progression, MN RN license, CPR, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in nursing OR ADN enrolled in BSN with completion date.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Two years in nursing leadership (e.g. charge nurse or supervisor).
• Birth Center clinical experience preferred.
• Minnesota RN license required.
• CPR competency every two years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Birth Center operations and staffing.
• Provide direct patient care in Birth Center/L&D and supervise inpatient staff.
• Coordinate with physicians, midwives, residents, and students.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork and policy adherence.
